Had plenty of reservations about seeing a band in their 80s at one of the worst stadiums in the US with highly inflated ticket prices but I’m glad we pulled the trigger on some cheap(er) tickets last week. It’s hard to avoid the “still got it” trope when talking about the stones, cos it is a unique thing to see humans that old still performing with the energy and quality they have. Hearing Keith’s telecaster riffs fill a football stadium on Honky Tonk Woman was worth the entrance alone, but Micks physical fitness and vocal quality across the 2 hours was truly a thing to behold. They were fantastic. I’d see them in 10 years time. #rollingstones #metlife
