CMJ 2015 (Saturday)

Various venues · New York With: Hooton Tennis Club, Ancient Cities, John Grant

Early Saturday show start for CMJ. Car Seat Headrest providing the early 90s college rock vibes. Very good start! #cmj

6th band of the day yesterday and final #CMJ show. A very different John Grant to what we saw 5 months ago. Strutting and dancing around the stage to his new more upbeat (and weird) tracks. Still a great show but I missed the older material.

New tumblr idea, crappy photos of bands from dimly lit rooms at #cmj Ancient Cities the victim this time. Pretty good 60s bluesy rock.

Hooton Tennis Club. Again, 90s vibe, but more britpop. From Liverpool, 2 bands and 2 thumbs up so far from me :) #cmj

The least crappy of a bunch of crappy photos from tonight's Car Seat Headrest show. Great gig, sounding much bigger with added band members. Look for em on The Tonight Show Wednesday! #carseatheadrest
